It started with a basketball.

Not a grand gesture, not a dramatic moment. Just two people who kept ending up on the same court, talking after games, and eventually not wanting to stop talking at all.

We met in high school. Swaraj was older, Zeal was faster, and for years we were just friends who happened to love the same sport. Then COVID happened, the world slowed down, and somewhere in all that stillness we figured out the deeper connect that had been there the whole time.

The 6 years that followed weren’t always easy, but love has a quiet way of finding its path. Over time, we realised we weren’t only longing for each other; we were longing for home, for our families, and for a life rooted in both. So we decided to chose all of it. Swaraj flew across the world to join his family’s business, and Zeal finished her Master’s degree from UPenn, and came back to offer her knowledge and training to the world from the place she felt home.

We found ourselves back where our stories first began, surrounded by the people who have always been part of them. whole thing unfold, and we could not be more ready.
